Welcome to Thoroughly Modern Gillie. I am a scientist, ethicist, soccer enthusiast and mother of two amazing young men. I have a BSc in Human Genetics from McGill University and a Masters in Professional and Applied Ethics from Leeds University. I have been a SAHM for years. My ex-husband is an MD.PhD. and we agreed, with his crazy schedule, there should be stability at home - me!
I grew up with two creative, handy, crafty, parents and continue to grow those skills to this day. I love to share what I can do and the new things I learn. I recently had my knee totally replaced and this has led me to use my science and research background to add some health and wellness to what I like to share.
